Positive Material Identification or PMI, is an integral part of process safety management in the medical component industry. It is by far the quickest and most reliable method for nondestructive verification of incoming material;to be certain that what you receive is what you ordered.

AeroMed Adds Fourth 5-axis Machining Center. Hass Super Speed VF-3SS

Many industries today, especially in the high-tech world of medical components and devices, are turning to 5-axis machining as a means to speed up manufacturing ability and increase repeatable accuracy. The ability to machine complex shapes, undercuts and difficult angles in a single setup reduces tooling cost and labor time, resulting in a better cost per part in addition to maintaining parts conformity throughout the run of the part.

In Response To Today’s Manufacturing Demands
for more accuracy, speed and functionality, AeroMed has installed the new Mitutoyo Crysta-Apex C shop floor capable CMM. The increased accuracy, measuring speed, and temperature compensation gives AeroMed a highly functional and productive tool to increase the quality of our process and products.
